Ashlesha Nakshatra

The deity is the Nagas — the serpent gods who hold the underground treasures and the venom both. The symbol is the coiled snake; the yoni is the male cat, affectionate only on its own terms. Mercury rules this nakshatra. She is the woman who knows things she should not know, and the people in her life cannot quite tell if she is dangerous or just clear-eyed.
